- Company Overview: Roofing repairs/replacement for all types of roofing and company warranty on all work completed. I personally have installed over 700 roofs of all types. I have certifications in composition shingles,Stone coated metal roofs,T.P.O.,Modified Bitumen-(torch and mop down),Hot Tar Roofing/Built Up,Sheet metal roofs of all types,wood shingle,Elastomeric coatings, Self Adhesive Modified Bitumen, and plastic cement/fiberglass membrane repairs. I have been a roof foreman for the maintainance contractor @ Motorola in Austin, a foreman for a hot tar company in Austin who re-roofed the Lano independent school district-(7 acres of roof area!), an independent contractor/subcontractor since 1977, an estimator/salesman for 6 major roofing companies in 5 states, and have been to 4 different wind and hail training schools for 3 major insurance companies. I have also had Rope and Harness Training, OSHA Hazmat, and been to several Factory Roofing Materials Plants in 2 states to learn material production proceedures and standards for Owens Corning, Tamco, and GAF roof materials suppliers. I have carried a Texas State insurance Adjusters License since 1991 and also have a causualty/automotive adjusting licence and as per state law have 30 hrs. minimum continuing education every 2 yrs. I pride myself on finding the cause of the loss/ or leak first visit and can engineer the proper repair/replace methods for every problem on all roof types. I have a college degree in Building Technology Construction and have spent 7 years as a journeyman carpentry in the union local 1266 and 427. I have 6 subcontractor crews that I have personally worked with for a minimum of 8 yrs to a max. of 22 yrs. , although I often inspect, locate, and repair roof leaks myself for speedier service and to keep costs down. I manage all replacement jobs and pride my self and my crews on our outstanding landscape protection and final cleanup of the property. I also have a patent pending on a Hardy Shake repair system with a 10 year warranty from Sherman Williams and interest/approval from 2 major National insurance companies. This is not a gimmic or ploy to sell anyone a new roof but instead a way of getting the 50 year lifetime warranty intentions of Hardyshake to actually be acheived by stopping the material deteriation in its tracks and at the same time increasing the R factor and reflective qualities of the roof surface which can reduce energy consumption I have designed and implemented this system in Fort Worth Texas as a way of satisfing a cost-conscious customer who had his roof for 17 years and loved it except for the 300 plus golf ball holes,(fairway location!), and ongoing flaking and midew deterioration.Do to the success and beauty of his completed job we became business partners and share a company called Roofing Solution Specialists. As a secondary solution we can always replace the Hardyshake roof with many alternative roof systems that meets all homeowner association requirements.We at I.C.C. have participated in one degree or another in the completion of over 4000 re-roofs in 5 states with outstanding quality and warranty backed roofs.
