Out of the four bids we received, they gave us the most informative quote which provided us the opportunity to make a fair comparison. Most of the bids we received included a lump sum total which did not provide clarification on what was included. Along with being informative the bid was very competitive. Comments: We are another home owner that had a wind and hail damaged roof. The insurance company was paying although their estimate was challenging to read. We received four bids to compare against the insurance estimate which made the analysis all the more difficult. The bottom line is the estimates were not consistent. One of our contractor interviews said they would take care of our $2500 deductible and upgrade our shingles. After waiting for several weeks for this contractor to commence work we had to cancel the contract. We then called Benchmark and they explained the process start to finish. They had a computer program that allowed them to take a photo of our home and put different shingles on the computer to assist with our decision on style/color of shingle and worked with the insurance company as material costs had changed. The roofing crew arrived as scheduled and did a really great job. They carefully protected our property while working and cleaned up amazingly, even returning all of our deck furniture from the yard. The following day Benchmark sent someone out who got on the roof and thoroughly inspected the job prior to payment. What a difference Benchmark made for us.

Comments: After the hail storm last April, we developed leaks in our roof. After several failed attempts by other companies to repair, we decided to replace the entire roof. We contacted 3 roofing companies that were highly rated and explained to each the leak problems, Benchmark being one of those, for estimate. Benchmark was selected for a number of reasons: First, because of the knowledge and thoroughness of the "estimator" salesperson, Robert Marston. Robert took his time and thoroughly inspected the entire roof, marking problem areas and making recommendations on improvement as well as explaining the pros and cons of the various roofing materials and what Benchmark would do. Secondly, he brought out specialists that explained the additional gutter and gutter guards we wanted upgraded. Thirdly, he came out with the insurance company and because of his knowledge and thoroughness of his initial inspection we secured a very favorable award from the insurance company, which I know from past experience we would not have received without his assistance. Even during the installation, he would come out to inspect the work and progress. The roof was installed in a very timely and professional manner!

Comments: My home had the horrible LP siding product installed in Marietta that began to literally fall off of the walls in several locations. Benchmark came out and provided a couple of solutions. I chose to go with Hardi siding and could not be more pleased with how affordable and efficient this project was completed. I labored over which product and contractor to use for over a month. I am delighted to say that I unquestionably have no regrets as my home looks fantastic. I highly recommend Benchmark to anyone that is in the market for a residing job.

Comments: I live in Douglasville and discovered that my roof had been damaged by hail. I contacted Benchmark Roofing to inspect my roof and they fully explained the insurance claim process after the inspection. I have never filed a property claim before and was thrilled when everything that was explained to me fell into place.
