  • Years In Business: 9
  • Company Overview: Rooftime began on Cincinnati's eastside in 1995, when Ricky and Sandy Feltner started a small family business that they operated out of their home. By 1999, Preferred Roofing's staff (which included a son, a daughter and son-in-law) and their crews had earned a ranking in R.S.I. Magazine's "Top 100 Contractors in America", with sales in excess of two million dollars!

Ricky passed away at the end of 1999, and the company struggled to carry on with-out his dynamic leadership. Today Ricky's legacy has been preserved by no less than 5 roofers that were once apart of his vision, all successfully operating their own companies using the same principles and ideals he established over 15 years ago!

Since 2006 A New Rooftime, has featured Sandy's daughter Missy answering calls (even at nights and on the weekends) and Ricky's grandson Justin as a project estimator. Willie and Greg run the roof crew's as job site foremen and oversee any service calls that may be received.

Rooftime is a fully insured, true family owned and operated business with deep community roots; over fifteen year's business experience, and three generations of service in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky! Rooftime's coverage area includes all of Hamilton and Clermont Counties, as well as portions of Butler, Warren, and Brown counties in Ohio. All of Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties in Northern Kentucky and most of Dearborn County in Indiana are also covered.

Estimators are non-commissioned, arrive on time, in neatly lettered vehicles and in uniform; inspect the attic portion of the roof, then inspect and measure from the roof top (not from the ground like most roofers have started to do). A free estimate can be prepared right from their vehicles or e-mailed back the same day!

Estimates are free and include color digital pictures and thermal camer scans of what they find. Rooftime utilizes all the best of today's technology such as thermal imaging cameras to pinpoint hidden leaks and decay, and satellite measurement software to offer 'to the inch measurements" for "to the penny pricing'.

Work Description: Remove my old roofs and install a new roof with better roof ventilation.

Comments: Love this company....2 companies off this list contacted me after I gave my information online. One seemed okay, but they did EVERYTHING...so I was worried about how good they actually were at roofing. My home is steep and my roof is high in the sky, I wanted someone who was a ROOFER not an electrician or a handyman that would sell me a roof. I am very well satisfied with ROOFTIME and would tell you to call them for an estimate, it was very worth my time and effort to do so.

Work Description: I THINK I AM GOING WITH THEM ONLY ONE CONTACTED ME.DALE THE GUY CAME OUT TO DO THE BID WAS VERY NICE ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS.

Comments: DALE WAS MORE THAN NICE TO ANSWER ALL MY QUESTIONS.

Work Description: New Roof New Gutters Attic Insulation

Comments: Like the man Rooftime sent to our house for the bid. Like the price and the way they conducted themseleves. Like the crew that did all the work. Like the fact that one crew did it all and in only 2 days time. Like my new roof and gutters. Like this company!

Work Description: Leaking roof in kitchen. Storm damage, needed a new roof installed.

Comments: We came home from vacation to find a huge leak in our kitchen. We searched on the Internet on a Sunday night to find a roofer to help us. Only 1 compnay answered our call, A New Rooftime. He came out at 9:30 on a Sunday night to try to help us. He tarped our roof, met with our insurance man, and his crew came out the next week to install a new roof. It looks great and we have told all our friends and family about how awesome Rooftime is.

A New RoofTime Replied:
Thank You! Justin and Willie really liked working for you! Call us when you are ready for the attic insulation we quoted!

Work Description: Bad storm damage...we put out a distress cry on Sunday, they arrived on Monday and tarped us! Seven of our neighbors cannot get a roofer to come out now, because they are ALL overbooked. With out this service, we might not have gotten our home safe!

Comments: Loved the rep, Willie, that came out....he was funny and very professional.......we have hired them to replace our roof now that the insurance has paid us

Work Description: New roof installed over our existing roof.

Comments: We met them at the Lions Festival this year in Erlanger Kentucky. They had a nice booth and were very nice to talk with. We hired them when they came out with out getting any one else over because they gave us their insurance and liscense copies, did not ask for any money upfront, and promised to not use any illegal people on our job. They did our job exactly like they said they would and it looks good too. You can drive by our house to see the good work they do, they have our address.

Comments: They cleaned up after themselves very well. I had no problems and I would recommend them to anyone else

Work Description: We had a new roof installed. We also had new gutters and 2 new skylights. We love the job they did, our house looks fantastic and the skylights are so wonderful! Sandy in their office is the BEST! We had "the boys" doing the job, they have three crews and nicknames for all 3, very funny!

Comments: I would hire them again, anytime! We had 6 estimates..they were not the cheapest, but they were not our most expensive either. We loved working with them, beacuse they called us every step of the way, we never had to wonder what was going on with our project!
